Items You Can You Request as Add Ons To Your Treatment Recommendation

At GenderGP, we strive to assist you every step of the way throughout your gender-affirming journey. In this regard, we offer add ons on top of the services we provide.
Here’s what you can get:

Travelling with Medication Letter

This letter confirms the validity of your prescription if you face any questions from customs during travel. It covers the necessary information regarding your medication and its validity.
Cost: £30

Fertility Referral Letter

You can get this letter after a Fertility Referral Session that we offer. During this session, you can specify the letter's contents. It helps your session provider to tailor it to your needs.
Cost: £110 (for session)

Blood Test Referral Letter

A blood test referral letter helps you get the necessary blood tests done by your doctor. We provide you this letter so you can start your gender-affirming treatment as soon as possible.
Cost: £20

Injection Training Session

A crucial part of your treatment is administering the medication you’ve been prescribed. For people who have been prescribed a formulation that requires injection, we offer Injection Training Sessions.

If you haven’t received the proper training to inject your medication, we require you to return your medication to the pharmacy and get alternatives such as a gel or tablets.
Cost: £40 (to have a nurse observe you while you inject) or £60 (to have a nurse formally teach you how to inject your medication safely)

Sildenafil

As a GenderGP member, you can request this medication as an add-on. It treats one of the possible side effects of feminising therapy, i.e. erectile dysfunction.
Cost: £10

Minoxidil

As a GenderGP member, you can request Minoxidil as an add-on. It helps individuals who are masculinising to promote fuller and even hair growth.
Cost: £10

Raloxifene

You can order this medication as an add-on. It is used to help individuals who are feminising to reduce breast growth due to oestrogen therapy.
