How to Change Your Prescription

If you’re already a GenderGP member, you can update your prescription any time through the Hub.

Before you begin, make sure that your details (including your name and address) are up to date. Also make sure you've given us your most recent blood test results. This is to make sure you've got the best possible options and that your prescription will be usable.

Changing Prescription

1. Click through the My Medication section

2. Here, you can see all of your medication, including the medication for your next prescription. Click Modify next to the medication you want to change.

3. From here, you can either change dose, change the medication, or remove it from your prescription.

You may see a prompt to update your blood test results for some dose changes. When making dose adjustments, you may also be told you're already on the highest or lowest possible dose.

4. Once you've made your choices, you'll be asked to confirm the changes.

If you're happy with the change, click Yes, Proceed.

5.The change will be reflected in the Next Prescription section of the My Medication section.

If you're not happy with the change, you can click Undo before your next Transition Pack is refreshed.

Adding Extras

You can add other medications in the Extra Items section.

Once you click through to the Extra Items section, you can click the Medications tab at the top to see the available options.

Just click Add to my Subscription to add the medication to your recurring subscription. You'll be prescribed enough for 3 months and the price will be added to your monthly subscription total.

Need your Medication Resent?

If you're adjusting your prescription because there was a mistake or another reason that means you'll need the prescription resent, you can request this through the Hub.

Note: You can only request a resend once every four months, so make sure everything's correct before confirming.

    To do this:

    1. Log into the Hub

    2. Click My Medication (you’ll find it at the bottom centre of the screen)

    3. Click Resend Medication

      • Choose a reason from the dropdown

      • Double-check your prescription preference is correct

    4. If you select Other, just pop your reason into the text box.

    5. Click Continue – and that’s it! Your request will be on its way.
