Why was my payment declined?


Payments can be declined for a few reasons, such as:

  • Incorrect payment details entered
  • Insufficient funds
  • Too many payment attempts in a short period of time

 

Missing Funds?

If your payment was declined, it can take up to five working days for your payment method to return the funds to your account. The money hasn’t been sent to GenderGP; it’s likely on hold with your payment provider.

If you don’t see the funds after five days, we recommend reaching out to your bank directly for more details.


How to Make a Successful Payment

To ensure your payment goes through:

  • Double-check that your payment details are correct
  • Make sure you have enough funds in your account
  • Verify that your payment method is up-to-date and hasn’t expired
  • If needed, try using a different payment method

If you’re still having trouble, contact your payment provider. They’ll have more information about the failed transaction and can help you figure out if something like blocked international payments or unusual activity holds your funds.
