Zoladex LA Depot (Goserelin) administration

Zoladex LA Depot, containing goserelin acetate, is classified as a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist. It works by suppressing your body's production of testosterone or oestrogen. It does not affect testosterone or oestrogen that you take by other means.

  • The healthcare provider will clean the injection site with an alcohol swab and use a sterile needle and syringe to administer the medication.

Timing and Frequency

  • Zoladex LA Depot is administered at specific intervals, depending on the formulation and treatment plan.
    • The 3.6 mg formulation may be administered once every 28 days.
    • The 10.8 mg formulation may be administered once every 12 weeks.
