What is an Information Gathering Session (IGS)? Why is it necessary?

After a new member joins GenderGP, our health advisor carries out an Information Gathering Session (IGS) over video chat.

The IGS enables us to meet you face to face, learn more about your situation, and understand how we might be able to help. The information is shared both ways; you tell us about you and we tell you about us.

The session also serves the purpose of establishing informed consent, which we require before giving you a Treatment Recommendation.
