We strive to ensure that accessing your medication is as easy and convenient as possible. This guide will take you through the steps to request your medication from your Treatment Recommendation.
When your Treatment Recommendation has been created, you will receive a copy and so will an Independent Prescriber, if you have opted to be referred to them.
Once the Prescriber has prescribed your medication the prescription will be sent to the choice you made on your Treatment Recommendation form.
If you have opted for a paper prescription, this will be sent to you in the post (please allow two weeks for delivery).
If you have opted for an electronic prescription, you will receive an electronic prescription token directly from Clynxx with instructions on how to give this to a pharmacy to buy your medication.
If you have opted to have your electronic prescription sent directly to our partner chemist, Smartway Pharmacy, then they will email you directly with a link to pay for your prescribed medication that they will then send to you in the post.
In addition to the above-mentioned instructions, please take note of the following:
If you need to contact your Independent Prescriber, then the details will be on your prescription.
If you need to request an updated Treatment Recommendation then please submit a new request.
If you would like to discuss your treatment plan with a healthcare professional, then please book a session via the Directory.
