Do I need hormones to transition?
Everyone has a different perspective on what they want to achieve in terms of their transition. You don't necessarily need hormones. It depends on your goals.
For some, social transition (presenting themselves in line with the gender with which they identify) is sufficient. Others might want physical changes, and for those people, hormone therapy is enough to give them the inner peace that's missing. For others, surgery is their desired route.
